Family Residence Permit for Student's Family Members

Family Visa

Students in Finland can bring family members (spouse and children under 18) with them. Family members can apply for residence permits on the basis of family ties.

Eligibility: The student must have a valid residence permit for studies and demonstrate sufficient means of support for family members.

Work While Studying

International students with a valid residence permit for studies can work up to 30 hours per week during term time and full-time during holiday periods without a separate work permit.
